We want to say a big thank you to all who came to support the Against All Odds Project launch. As we extend our services to those in need in the local communities. We thank BLF ‘Awards for All’ and AOS Partners for funding this project in order to support women and girls who require the assistance from their bad experience of domestic violence or abuse, to resettle into full and productive community life. Some AOS team members met with our very own Worshipful Mayor of Dartford, Councillor Ian Armitt.
The Mayor was happy to attend the launch and reinstated in his letter, “I believe your biggest obstacle will be breaking down the barrier of cultural reluctance for such incidents being made known to you.” Indeed this will be quite a challenge as we will endeavour to achieve the utmost positive impact in the local community. The project launch was also supported by a number of local organisations, including a representative from Kent County Council.
